Returns/Refund Policy

Products damaged or missing during delivery:
If a product is damaged in transit, missing any parts/accessories or an incorrect product has been sent at the time of delivery, please contact us within 7 days after the delivery collection has taken place and we will resolve the issue with haste.

Defective products at the time of delivery:
We do our best to ensure that the products we deliver to you are of a high quality and in good working order and without defects. If a product is found to be defective at the time of delivery, please contact us within 7 days after the delivery collection has taken place and we will resolve the issue with haste.

What is a defect? A defect is a material imperfection in the manufacture of a product or any characteristic of a product, which makes the product less acceptable than one would reasonably be entitled to expect in the circumstances.

The following will NOT be regarded as defects and will not entitle you to a return under this section:

A) faults resulting from normal wear and tear
B) damage arising from negligence, user abuse or incorrect usage of the product
C) damage arising from electrical surges or sea air corrosion
D) damage arising from a failure to adequately care for the product
E) damage arising from unauthorized alterations to the product
F) where the specifications of a product, although accurately described on the website and generally fit for its intended purpose, do not suit you
G) damage arising from failure to adequately store the product in the ideal storage conditions

Due to the nature of the products we offer, items purchased are non-refundable unless it's an incorrect product delivered to you by mistake, the product was damaged during shipping or the product was defective at the time of delivery. This is for your protection as we cannot risk our health and safety standards by accepting opened or used returned goods and then placing the products back onto our shelves to be re-sold.

To initiate the returns process, email us at returns@touchfoods.co.za with a small detailed message of the product's fault, along with the order number (from which the product was purchased under) as a reference.

After an approved return is initiated with our returns department:

  1. The product will be collected via our courier services at the agreed upon address between yourself and the returns department
  2. The product must be:
    1. 2.1 Unused, with the original labels still attached
    2. 2.2 In the original packaging, which must be in its original condition
  3. Keep your proof that the product was returned to our courier company in the event of loss of returned goods. Failure of the above will result in us not being held liable for returned goods that does not reach our returns department.

We will notify you via phone or e-mail of your refund once we have received and processed the returned item. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 30 days of our receiving your return. The above is subject to approval from our returns department.
